Yesterday, I browse through my FB photos – I found this one taken at Portuguese Settlement, Ujung Pasir, Melaka. A group of boys hanging out at the old jetty smoking their lung off like nobody business. The place is one of the best kept secret in Melaka for sunset.

I saw my friend photo who visit this place recently – sadly, the jetty is no longer usable – collapse half way.

I hope the local government will restore it soon.

Malaysia Airlines recently launched their mobile app branded MHmobile – I was skeptical at first, generally – u knowlah with all this crazy race by many airlines to have their mobile site available for public – I guess MAS wouldn’t want to be left out too – and Malaysia always like to be the first in this and that –  so with an open mind – I went to the launch at MAS Academy.

Somehow that morning, I was more excited to see 4 stewardess in kebaya holding the iPhone rather than listening to the presentation given by MAS.

Back to MHmobile – it’s not just mobile app for iPhone after all – it’s more like mobile application site that works on any mobile browser – the interface look very2 simple – damn plain – very super fast – more like an old Web 1.0 application (I do miss the old 1997 web interface) instead of glamorous iPhone-iconly apps – and the interesting part – it can be use with many kind of phone – even on normal Nokia and Blackberry and still look damn good.

My mum always called a person who sing or act on TV as ‘orang mainan‘ and when I was kids I always thought these people, who comes out on TV or famous on magazine and newspaper is like so alien to me.

Either they came from Mars or perhaps somewhere which is from a kingdom far-far away; and they are very different then a common people like me.

That was back then…

Now, when you started to network and mix with a few people and grow older (for sure), believe me you’ll befriends with a few people that knows these alien.

Somehow after my birthday dinner last few weeks, one of my friends asking for my help for the official launch of his baby product, JERNEH by Sheila Majid – which is a business venture with Sheila Majid.

Told him, she was one of my alien I used to see on TV – wouldn’t want to miss my chance!

Straight away call my mum about it, you know (hahahah).

She was the petite girl you always want to slap from the Ali Setan movie, remember?

Maybe a song – heey, si pengemis muda… might recall you?

So, after a couple days of discussion with my friends, I’ve created the flash presentation for the official launch of JERNEH by Sheila Majid.

Yesterday, after long overdue (ceh-ceh) – I met with her in person.

As usual she manage to crack a couple jokes during the press conference, so that’s a proof she is not alien, mum.

This happens when Sheila corrected my friend statement that she was not aging but instead maturing.

Mum, I met a few other alien too. This one is known as Sherliza (TV3′s Nightline newscaster), she was the most charming MC that day!

This during the launch of the product, which she has to press the mouse – but she has to posse first for almost 5 minutes to make sure her photo look good on newspaper.

Mum, she’s very friendly – she even said thank you from far for the video I made for her.

On Saturday, me and my family was in Selaru (Kuala Pilah – Tampin trunk road) attending one of my second cousin (dua pupu) wedding; he is one of my grown up tiga sekawan; we born on the same year;

Most of our younger brothers or sisters are all getting married earlier than us since three of us kind of waiting between each other who is going to tie the knot first!

So as usual the eldest one will go first;

Once the PPSMI session ended, three of us; me, Anis and Izah left Lisbon Hotel and ventured into the historic part of Malacca town.

With the session ended in the afternoon on Friday; we still have more times before going back to Kuala Lumpur.

Since Anis never been to Malacca and really wanted to see Porta De Santiago, we starts our exploration of the historic landmarks of Malacca straight away after check out from the hotel.

Still in baju kurung, both of them looks so sweet in front of the A Famosa.

After an hour, we were soak! Izah feet was killing her since she was wearing a high heel. So we went back to our car in Dataran Pahlawan and do a quick change over. For me it was a shopping at FOS for a shirt and PDI for a plaid short!

With a casual but appropriate outfit; we walk to 1650′s Stadhuys Building.

After finishing my previous two session of PPSMI VI last month without any major glitch except for this, I was invited for another session and this time it was held in Lisbon with two cek mek facilitator.

With my spoiled switch-on-switch-off camera, it’s hard to takes photo of teachers activities.

Instead after the class break before the night session, me and this two cek mek starts to explore the beautiful scenery of Lisbon.

Both Cek Mek currently finishing their studies in UiTM Shah Alam; taking this opportunity to become a facilitator for PPSMI is a good step for them to learn new or perhaps improving many skills especially on human relations and IT itself. 

However as a Cek Mek, there will be many dahi licin man around who would try tackle/lure them!

And to make thing more fun, these people never give up trying to charm them coz both of them do look sweet… (as a Cek Meklah)

As a plus, they were very sporting too… (as my photo object).

And sometimes they do look serious too… (or maybe a little ting tong at a times)

but gorgeously well captured on every shot I takes… (they do like to pose!)

Somehow they do patiently entertain my ting-tong behavior most of the times…

But most of the times we were having fun because I never had hidden agendas unlike the other guy!

Aidilfitri was celebrate here in my hometown as usual at our modest way; there is neither fancy open house nor one family one tone baju raya. It was a very traditional way of celebrating Eid Mubarak.

This entry will be a little Hari Raya album for Kak Syuza, one of my niece who had to celebrate her lebaran in India.

A night out in Malacca town make me wonder why does everything seems too glowing at this newest UNESCO World Heritage City;

On a second day of PPSMI training, we decided to go to Malacca town for a site seeing.

After breakfasting near beach side at Pangkalan Balak in Masjid Tanah, we drove through kampung road in Sungai Udang towards Pantai Klebang.

It has been a couple of years I didn’t come to this town and most of the thing are changing rapidly.

The older part of the town are now slowly get overshadow by the huge new shopping complex in Dataran Pahlawan.

The new Taming Sari Tower next to the complex have added some fun for the city but does its really justified for the sake of heritage?

Then we went to this building – can’t recall what the name; but I know its always on the cover of history book; The white spot near the old church building is the full moon

After that we stop at this nearby place to clean the smelly bird shit on my shoulder;

Then we went to Menara Taming Sari – first thought – I said why on earth does people sittin in this glass donut shape thing; then we realise it’s a viewing tower that raise up to the peak of the tower; since it was almost 10.00pm, that was the last ride – we show myKad and paid RM10 per person for a little fun ride

After that we went to Hang Tuah area – the reflection of the the lights so mesmerise;

One night out like this is a little relief for a rare holiday maker like me.

Every time Ramadan, all kind of hotel or restaurant accept Chinese restaurantlah; will started doing their Ramadan Buffet dinner package. Sometimes its so much foods so little stomach…

Since Sarjan Yo (who study in ITM) in need of a new laptop; me and my two staff, Fariz & Nurul went to Low Yat Plaza to do some IT shopping.

After paid the deposit for the new laptop, we went to buka puasa buffet in Federal Hotel while waiting for the thing to be configure with the OS and the rest.

Have to thanks Ayda for doing the booking for us. She not fasting – her “kuda berdarah tiada henti” so she not joining in.

There were not many people at the Verandah of Federal Hotel, the food buffet spread all over the rooms, all authentic Malay style

It has been couple of times, me & Aida visited Bazaar Ramadhan in Tasik Permaisuri, Bandar Tun Razak and every time we were there, this one food stall always amuse us; the Nasi Kukus Ayam Dara Kota Bharu.

Ramadan al-Mubarak is always being the most anticipated period of the whole year especially for its Bazaar Ramadan food craze.

This thing is everywhere, in every corner and any part of suburb. In surrounding Bandar Tun Razak itself; we’ve visited one near the Downtown, Flat Seri Sabah, near Cheras Komuter Station, Bandar Sri Permaisuri and the one we always drop by was at the Tasik Permaisuri Parking Lot (some people call it, Jurassic Park).

There is one stall when we pass by; it does always have a long Q. One time the foods already sold out even it was around 10 minutes pass 6 in the afternoon.

So yesterday, both I and Aida decided to justify why on earth this shop is so famous.

“Sedap sangat ke noq sampai ramai giler orang Q ni” puzzles Aida.

“Tak tahulah noq, trylah” said me.

You can see they fried the ‘virgin’ chicken and do a proper timer (on top middle)

“Boleh caya ke noq? Kau confirm sedap ke ni?”

This is how long the Q is, from minah kilang to HUKM staff all Q’in up for the ‘virgin’ chicken.

2 pack of ‘Virgin’ Chicken and a bulk of other foods we ‘borong’ from there. I got myself ‘Tepung Pelita’ and ‘Akok Melor’ – I’m very the kelantanis one – can’t change my taste of food.

After that we drive back to ‘Ehsan’ Bandar Kinrara, our daily pit-stop and meet with ‘Ehsan Regular’

There was naxie; who just started teaching in KDU – he say all his students kind of a’cie – ayo, it’s well knownlah – they not TPM, OK!

Sham ‘Kakak’ who seems have lost some pounds during the first 10 days of fasting.

Nuhi, look thinner since she was admitted for typhoid last month. Since then we never shared food with her. That was a little bit mean but prevention is better than cure.

Close to buka puasa, Kak Meen also took part on our daily break fasting session.

At last, we ate the ‘Virgin’ Chicken – it’s tasteless. The steam rice too dry – the curry was too salty.

So next time when you visited any Bazaar Ramadan, don’t get cheat by the Q coz the long Q doesn’t justified anything.

It’s nice, it’s gross and it’s also the activity that make Paula Malai Ali a talk of the town when she was on Oprah talk show.

It has been a couple of week, I’m pulling a full stretch of my brain and the stress effect have started showing inside out. 

While Ayda was buzzing for past a few days, looking ahead to pampered herself over the weekend; the ideas struck me. It has been two years since my last visit with a beautician.

We (Ayda was companied by Amy) decided to meet and started to look around at Bandar Puteri for a beauty centre after a failed attempt to search online. Suprising, Bandar Puteri is so fast develop; so many choices of food outlets, banking places and many others.

After one round, we pass a row of shop and started to look for any promotional banner displayed in front of the shop.

Cornered, pull up the handbrake, close the door; three of us rush to the shop! 

The shop ambience is OK for sunday outing – not too Bali and not too Zen; I really hate when any place is so much like a clone of holiday destination.

The owner; Ms Florence Chang (we call her Aunty since she call us; Yang for sayang) entertained us like we were her kids. She advice us what to do for each of our skin condition.

So at last, we buy what she said and do the facial treatment there. For the first timer, you’ll get 50% discount and plus RM30 for eyes treatment.

Since everybody is taking chances to pampered themselves for the next two hours, nobody is taking any photos!

After two hours of crying and snoring on top of the treatment table, we all look so fresh! All the black head gone; white head all goes out the drain.

After that I’m opt for extra services after noticing the sofa and the sink at the corner of the shop;

The girl started applying the mud after clean and wash both my feet! It’s heaven…

After that she wrap it with the plastic for the next half an hour.

While waiting for the mud to take effect, she start doing pedicure! By end of the treatment my toe nail look so clean…;

I was one happy customer;

After that she do her manicure;

We officially hate Amy from today onwards since her face had the less problem between us;

After both Sarjan Yo and Abe We continued their studies to higher institution, it’s Kakak turn to be away to further her study and it would be an ocean far away; she’ll be a medical officer in the next 5 years;

It was tough for my sister to let her eldest daughter to go away but this would be her dream to see Kakak to be a doctor and study oversea. 

Last tuesday, we went to KLIA to send her a little good bye;

Thing kind of sad but I’m happy for her…

India is not far away; Jetstar is just a couple of hours away;

The last time I was in KLIA; i think 2 year ago or maybe more; I miss doing check-in at the airport for holiday!

After transferring a couple of kilos from the main bag to hand luggage; we’ve to wait for group gathering; off fo something to eat;

Then we ate at KFC KLIA; the food was great although everybody kind of sober

It’s gathering session conduct by JPA staff and everybody reading some prayers for blessed journey;

A group of future Malaysian doctors;

I hope they finished their studies and come back to Malaysia and flock our local hospital and giving their greatest contribution to the country.

And maybe give me free MC, at least!

Kalau tak kerana kereta Along dan Jayu park dekat Pusat Rekreasi Air, dah confirm aku balik Puchong dah petang tu; Singgah je kat situ, Along melompat terus ke kaunter;

Abang yang jaga basikal dah ader balik kat Pusat Rekreasi tu; so aper lagi – ke tasik jugaklah semua orang.

Akhirnya kami sampai jugak.. penatnya tak yah cakaplah…

Aku berlatar belakangkan Istana Melawati;

After burning all the calories in the morning, we’ve to pay our debt to our stomach and Alamanda Putrajaya is the place to go. At the same time, its time to hurt our pocket with some shopping;

This event happen at RASA foodcourt, Alamanda Putrajaya; All food are consume wisely and non are wasted

“Jayu, the calorie you’ll gain from this plate is double with the one you burn out this morning” – jayu refused to listen – in minutes its become an empty plate!

Nuhi stick to traditional Chicken Rice;

And mine; hard to say – my metabolism is very high, so I eat all kind o thing – some beef, squid, eggs, vegy and cracker – never kufur ni’mat when you eat!

After filling our stomach with the foods, we circles Alamanda for window shopping; 

We stop at Starbucks for coffee break shortly after buying couple thing at Reject Shop, G2000 & City Chain

The activities not stop there! We did manage to go on the lake that afternoon…

With wind blows lightly and shadowed by the cloud above, we climb a huge tower overlooking the greenery surround the Putrajaya Wetland Park for a little break.

There is no word to describe how tired we were but a view on top of Viewing Tower above the hill of Wetland Park make us forget at all it was quarter pass noon;

A couple of step up to the top

We stay there for almost an hour to enjoy the scenery and it’s time to shoot plenty of photographs for fun.
