Very rarely I would talk about what I do for living but some how this one really excite me to share how social media revolutionize brand, corporate entity and their human capital, Malaysian Government and Malaysian in general.

At first, it was FOX NEWS blunt mistake that make me jump into my HootSuite & TweetDeck and start my daily monitoring of Social Media.

Somehow someone in FOX NEWS think Saddam Hussein was a Pharaoh, building Pyramid in Babylon land.

On the day of March of the Millions, I was already suck into my iPad and my twitter feed is flowing like a river Nile.

All my keyword started trending and slowly tweet by Malaysian cripple out like a mummy rise from the tombstone.

With that, the email trail started to pile up, back and forth within the organisation and I was lucky enough to witness how an organisation spurs hope for all Malaysian!

The rest after that is history in the making.

The single tweet launch the chain reactions and everyone are on their tiptoes to make sure nothing goes like the Bush and his Kartina’s Super Dome.

For me, to see two corporate entities work hand in hand competitively for sake of humanity to push the boundaries of social media and mass media brand positioning is in class of their own.

Who will get the front page cover, who’ll get the first mention or who’ll get after the comma is Malaysia Airlines to lose, Air Asia to gain for the rest of the week.

To go beyond the surface of media, everybody else in the background within the both organisation who’re involved directly and indirectly in the rescue operations are the one who should get credits here.

It’s not an easy task to pull a rescue mission to take out 1o thousand of citizen from one country to another country which is not its citizen.

I hope everyone see a bigger picture, we as Malaysian – we should be grateful – no matter what political parties we’re in and or supporter to common corporate frenemies in the competitive market – we’ll try to stand together for one common reason – we’re doing it for sake of Malaysian.

Which country would declare public holiday just because winning a sub-regional football cup? Singapore… I doubt so.

To some of you, I’ve my own war trying to put a Malay – perhaps Malaysia in general, on the International stage on my own.

Who are you to judge me – am I ashamed to be a Malay boy from a village in Kelantan, graduated locally, especially at my age with a poor English?

At least, I’m not just sitting on my chair, reading a blog entry from one blog to another blog saying bad thing about a person (in specific manner) or perhaps fighting over the future of Malay (which control by a decision of a Malay too) on the street yet.

Hmmm.. so miss designing web site… just finished design something for someone and he was so impress!

What a relief, it was a while I didn’t design something nice!

Today, I want to share with your guys my previous design work since last 10 years…

I luv how I break my design rules back in 2002 by creating this minimalist design and using Courier font which was back then monopolise by Verdana and crowded flashy design.

The design featured in Web Design Index book published by Pepin later on that year!

I was so proud of myself…

This one was influence a lot from a magazine shot back in 2002.

I luv the logo I created for them, and the sister company CeriaTone still using the logo as hybrid!

The design was just OK.

This one was back in 2000, the first commercial design I’ve done – hell it was interesting to get rid of typical 1990′s web site design back then… the company use the design for more than 5 years after that.

Green was so difficult to turn into a nice web site, trust me…

After working on my own in 2002, I started to get approach by company to design their corporate website.

Sometimes I do wonder why colours play important rules in most of my design and this one I luv since 1024×768 resolution inspired me to created an extra space for login section on the right. 

Damn, after that – I started the trend!

See, the same style start to influence me the whole 2003… this was a major stepping stone project for me and a major challenge since I’ve to wash out the typical government web site design cliche and it wasn’t the people who surf it but the people who owned it!

Then I started to experiment with the striking color as background, with this one – I manage to play with it, to me back then it look good – now, so-solah

After that, I manage to do this presentation kits for this insurance company – although it wasn’t really a nice business deal; hahahah!

Then I get really cranky and manage to do this design although I really hate it; but check out the illustration photo? I break the rules of photo boundaries..

After a year, I hate the old design and I change this company web site design with this one… this was the last design I do for them; after that I get really irritated with the people there…

At the same time, I was working on this Ministry web portal – it was way more challenging than their agency web site. After that I get really demotivated to do web design anymore… to much back stabber!

By end of 2006, I designed my last web design for this transportation company.

Before that, I manage to pull one hell of a new concept – it was worth the effort – it’s nice but it wasn’t me anymore…

I got to know one Iranian guy who owned this company, rebrand his logo and start to play around with icons – way to much competition during this times – I do it with full force and I hate it in away.

Design shouldn’t be force.

This one, hmmm…. can’t say much – I was tied up with so many rules and regulation. Haaaaatteeee it!

But I pull some magic with this one at the same time… have to thanks Roby (my PA back then) for the inspiration – we do the crayon ourself and created one concept nobody use back in 2005 for education web site. It was perfect, lovely and I fall in love with the simplicity that always love when designing website at the first place.

The owner of the web site love it so much – and it was my last design featured in Web Design Index by Content!

Most of the time from 10 in the morning to 7 in the evening, I’ll be plug-in-to the NET managing my company property portal; and blogging is one of thing lately I feel does kept me out of thinking about my works and catching up something funny like this make me smile… with an evil twisted mind on the corner of my eyes!

To make your blog/website visible to outsider, you’ve to implement a different kind of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) technique either using Google Webmaster Tools or plenty of other tools available online. With WordPress there are plenty of plugins you may download such as All in one SEO

To monitor the traffic in and out, you may use Google Analytics or StatPress plugin to help you to regularly checkout the blog traffic and start planning to increase the traffic from there.

It’s one part of my daily jobs, tho!

Somehow it’s still depends on the way you write your entry on the specific topics or for me I love the art of writing shockingly crazy out of this world title like ‘rambutku hanjing di kulum babi‘; but the key thing you’ve to do is bloghopping from one blog to another blog to shit your return-link seed.

It’s a must; that’s the rule of thumb of SEO! The more shit-ing around you do, the higher Google ranking you’ll get.

So last week; I manage to captured…

That person (he/she) have placed a comment ( if the link repeated twice; it means the visitor have wrote a comment; submission of comment create double entry on page visited traffic log – and it could also be a spam log )

Wait… there is something wrong with the screen capture!

Why TMNet (checkout the domain which IP Address attached to) is available in Israel and also that person is using iPhone Mac OS X (the browser version appear underneath it)?

Don’t worry; there is nothing wrong with that – actually when you visited a site; you’ll leave a trail of an IP address which you’re accessing from – this IP address is registered somewhere (I don’t know where) and the system will uodate it regularly and obviously this was a mistakes created by the computer which the IP Address was stored to.

Somehow they wrongly registered the IP address under ‘Tel Aviv, Israel’.

… and the person who actually wrote the comment was… Ah Chai ( Josh ) himself!

How do I know and do you want to know where did Josh place this comment? 

Check out the time Josh placed his comment on my entry ‘a forgiveness yet too little too late‘ and the Israel’s IP Adresss time and date are the same.

Now we look up for the IP Address geographical location at IPLocation – the 3rd option does seems right… Now we look for the Latitude and the Longitude of that IP Address on Google Maps

I think that’s where the antenna which Josh iPhone access the edge facility of his mobile network.

So the next time you intended to leave a nasty message at someone blog, be careful yeah, especially the one with fixed IP address!

I’m puzzle! Every year, the same issues arise; English is PPSMI (Program Pembelajaran Sains & Matematik dalam Bahasa Inggeris) main purposes but English was never its main objective…

… to some of the trainers.

This would be the fifth year of PPSMI and my second year as a trainer.

Although it was supposedly my third times as a trainer but since last year schedule pack like a sardines, I had to skip it.

This year, I’m back; hoping it will provide a change which I’ve loudly spoken out 3 years ago.

Why pick a trainer who can’t speak a bit of English when the main objective of the programmes was to enhance the use of English.

My hope was dash in the glamorous of the Palace of Golden Horses.

Most of the trainer attended, I would say 60% of them not even planning to do training in English. Some of them were excellent in Soft Skill / Public Speaking but hardly of them wants to try English as a medium.

Not a little bit.

As usual, excuses are the first thing come out from some of them.

I’ll be training in rural area which most of the teachers not even use English as their first language.

As a trainer, you’re the person who delivering the message so stops giving that lames excuses. PPSMI is not just providing a computer skill training its also providing the effort to convey teachers to use English as spoken language during their Mathematic and Science classes.

No wonder, nobody is in favour of PPSMI and try to revert back to PPSMM…

I was really angry by the end of 3 days training. Bunch of selected best trainer is “Malay” spoken person too… and every year it’s the same.

I’m not saying my English is good, but at least I’ve tried!

This is why I’m so racist against my own race!

Manage to speaks with my sis & my ybro regarding the notebook’s OS their schools got it for PPSMI IV – Windows Vista – so En. Nasrul what we should do if the syllabus is already wrong?

Back on mid 2006, one lady; she drop by to my office and fascinate with it’s design which I’ve designed myself and excited to featured it on a Singapore-based magazine but only now I’ve discover and read her articles

Unfortunately after the interview, I never heard from her. I can’t even recall did she ever mention to me in which magazine it will be featured.

So those thing kind of fly by me without notices. Never knew did she published the articles or not.

Sadly, I’ve too let go the office to the landlord after back from Italy trip around July that year cause I got an offer from UNISYS and started operating as freelance from home.

Last night after googling my name, I’ve stumble to that articles at last; reposted over at ‘JobsCentral Community’

These really bring a big smile on my face since I’m in need of a dose of ‘glamourous’ motivation right now. It has been a tough ride since the establishment of Kuala Lumpur Retail Property Centre (KLRPC).

Nobody kind of notices how great it is; It is a piece of art! Every single design inside those space was an art work of me (tho, the enhancement does come from input of multiple person).

Like a tradition of any project by Heitech Padu, there will always be a chill out session between the client & the project teams; and for this project, although I was only the sub-contractor – slowly I’ve become the most recognisable person to be associated with.

Once the stress level is getting higher and dateline is less than couple of blue moons away; what a better way to blow away the cloudy mindset by going out for a non-working enviroment human relation activities.

The best way to do is throw the hard ball and hit all 10 pins. We out for friendly bowling tournament in a group fight between eKL MAMPU teams and Heitech Padu Berhad teams and theirs family members.

Although hardly most of us hitting the strike but at least all of us going back with no bruise on our face. Just a long smile to return back to our project site for the next dateline coming our way soon.

I kind of sleepy, have to wake up early from my normal routine of saturday morning – cuddling my bolster - end up my first game was really bad.

Me & Shooq of Heitech was not hitting the pin right all morning and always happen our ball end up inside the longkang instead, so we think hugging each other could bring the energy and get rid of bad karma. After that we got the strike at least one per game. Hahaha.

She kept loosing the ball most of the times. Everybody have a good laugh tho by the afternoon not just looking at her!

一盅兩件, a cup of tea with two dim sums for breakfast.

A traditional way to express my excitement to start a new week on this sunday. In a way, it would be a good motivation to all the team members and a big slap on the xxxxing face of all the people who give us cold shoulder!

As a year goes by, we successfully crafted this company and our first products and services, this portal, and at the same time we’re having hard time to properly bringing this new concept to a very unprofessional real estate business in Malaysia.

We would crack our head like zombie just to please some of the Real Estate Agency Firm who are so arrogant worse than Mr Arragont.

This people would not barge from their comfort zone even though you’ve design a wholesome of solution that I would say a better way doing their property marketing. It’s tailored and customised from what others practices in other countries out there, so we’re not making this out.

I guess they are the katak di bawah tempurung. Wake up guys!

Now it will be their lost… bcoz we’ve decided to change our game plan.

One, because we would see either other competitors are start copy cat us (a usual way of some Malaysian’s people define themselves as innovate) or moving further from us with their couple of years not so great product placements & brand awareness.

Second, we realise no matter how much we try to revolutionise this so-called people with proof-work-out skill in the industry, they would just rather be… what they are as they are no matter how.

So, instead of stay licking their axx off, we start giving this chance to consumer now…

…to allow any Malaysian property owner to purchase our product and submit their property for FREE on the portal instead of just giving the exclusivity only to them like before. Go figure!

After doing big MITI MATRIIX project and AmBank Retail Banking branding a year ago, I would say, this would be a big responsible job to finish in this couple of months. -:)

If you’re thinking into going about politics or bumi sentiment about how I got this project, which I know others would think about it. Stop it now.

Stop being jealous guys, if you knew me well enough, you’ll admit I got this project non other than bcoz I’m so damn xxxxing major – awesome – fierce – bxtch slapping designer.

Last few days, I’ve received a call from my old project’s project manager. She have somethin big for me. I didn’t expect it would be as big as previous project which I’ve done with her company before.

With an open mind, I say yes.

After couple of hours meeting at Putrajaya w couple of gomen staff today, I come out from the room with a huge respect for their vision, especially the boss.

The pengarah was so cool and not bad looking at all.

But that not the reason why my brain was tingling non-stop. Somehow he speaks my geeky language flawlessly like a term of metadata and spider web make me smiling for hours.

Not bad at all! What a charming geek, he is.

If thing goes smoothly, I’ll share with you guys tomorrow all about it.

It will be a huge honor for me.

2007 goes by so fast till now its almost summer ’08 and I’m still can’t keep my mind what has happened during whole of last year.

To some people, I’ve been hibernate till they think I’ve migrated to oversea. But really, how can I be like Windows Vista functions when my mind so xxxxing alive all the time.

I was still here in Kuala Lumpur, haven’t got any opportunities to go elsewhere for work tho. And maybe not thinking anymore to go to negara atas angin. I think what I’m doing now will kept me busy for next couple of year.

That was the thing I’ve been doing since May ’07 after I finish my contract with UNISYS. 

We were doing marketing R&D and I was in charge for service innovation development with my two boys (my programmers) to build the whole IT support solution for it. 

At last, back in March ’08 the thing successfully open for public daily in Jalan Pinang nearby KLCC. The portal was launched. The online services was up and running.

But sadly, we got a cold shoulder from our main target customer.

I think some of them were so twisted with unprofessionalism ( worse than the smoking guy from X-Files) till I don’t know how to brainwash their head anymore. The effort we have done always been taken as a big threat to them.

I remember one time, I was gluing the whole wall with the copy of street map pages just to understand the whole area of Kuala Lumpur and creating the essence of the whole concept of propertrack.com. If that was not count as effort to help your business, how much more you want us to be.

Come on guys, we are the good guys!
