you think you’re loving but you don’t love me

New year passes by so nervously.

The glooming of overcast above us worried me… it’s a new challenge up ahead.

Change our attitude towards ourselves has to be made fast… no more sitting duck.

It’s going to be a tough year ahead of us, guys - trust me.

When war is to be a catalyst for economic spur…

If you thinking you’re loving what you’ve now, trust me, kept to it before its start not to love you anymore.

when love grows, there’s rosemary at your door

I’ve my monthly big entry tomorrow (from this month onwards, it will be my routine entry every month - about my past), which is kind of very-very sad.

So do come back, to say something…

Before I spoiled your holiday mood, lets celebrate someone life; cause when the love is gone, dear - it ain’t returning back.

While my love grows - hopefully, there was a Rosemary waiting at my door.

kiranya pedih hati riang

kiranya pedih hati riangBack in 80’s,  late afternoon - on a day when sun is so bright and shadowed by the trees on the west - we, whole family would pack a ‘kopi ais‘ in red thermos and ‘biskut majerin‘, an inch rectangle size biscuits which you can easily get from ‘Kedai Runcit‘ - and we all went to ‘Kute‘ till dawn.

Kute‘ is an area where we have our sawah padi.

Although it was not our own land, my dad will ‘pawah‘ it with the land owner so this would becomes our main source of income to support us all.

batinku menjerit namun tiada suara

pb040105I would remember running away from my mum during Maghrib time with her loud shrinking voice chasing me to go upstair to take shower after playing a ‘lempar koo‘ game with my cousin under the machang tree next to grandma place.

And I would go to a perigi to take a naked buffalo shower bordered by the bamboo wall with rusty zink door.

December like this, a wind would shake the rubber tree next to the house and you can here the POP sound from the ‘buah getah‘ drop on the ground; and the huge rumpun bamboo behind the house scratching between each other and the sound I always thought a ‘hantu kopek lanjut‘ laughing - like what mum said to scared me off; › Continue reading

I’ve to say 10 years ago, I never understood why Sheila Majid (Dato’ ) voice was so unique and she was a big huha by a certain quartered of people in Malaysia. But after listening to Renee Olstead my perception towards Jazz and Sheila Majid suddenly change. › Continue reading
