It’s never our intentions to do cycling that morning; however a group of girls pass by on the nearby lake and the limited staff by putrajaya wetland make us change the whole plan;

After arriving at Water Sport Centre, Putrajaya Wetland Park – we’re so excited to jump into the lake and exploring the vast calming water in front of us.  

However with the limited staff available and over excitement showed by us, the lady behind the counter refuses us to do the canoeing till the right person in charge comes in.

So we’re a bit frustrated;

Suddenly at the edge of the hill in front of us, there was a group of girl giggling and in the way was breaking the whole silent, attract our attention;

Cycling! The other sports activities as alternative.

We ask the girl on the counter; she said we’ve to go to another entrance further up around 1km and hire a bicycle there;

Off we go – arriving shortly after circling one big around (since the entrance to Wetland Park was not directly exiting from the Water Sports Centre – do remember any road in Putrajaya is slightly confusing if you’re first timer)

Arrived at Wetland Park, we hired 4 bikes – RM4 each for one hours; – the staff is very helpful and he was the guy who supposedly to be at water sports centre, cut the story short – one bike for me; one for Jayu; one for Nuhi (with a baby sitter for picnic food) and Hana & Along insist to take double sitter bicycle;

After a couple huha-huha around the parking lots, we cycle down the hill;

It’s our time to break the silent of Wetland Park and giggle around; All the flamingo on the lake fly away when they heard our voices;

Down the hill towards family day area (on the right of Wetland Park); the road turn to mountain bike style road; My ass hurts and had a little sore on my butt cheek; You should watch Along thingy – shaky like Beyonce!

Half way circling the lake; we find the right spot (far behind you can see the Viewing Tower); since all our muscle hurts and we kind of tired – Jayu and Nuhi ready with the junk food and I pack a box of sandwich – made it fresh that morning. Gigih ni…

A nice spot for tut-tut; nobody at all – just a couple of birds flying;

It almost 10.30am; the weather was good – no sun at all;

The place was so calm – and it was the right spot for my novel scene;

After that, we cycle up to power plant and down to the bridge near to Water Sports Centre close to BBQ area;

I don’t know what Jayu & Nuhi do with the big rock but it’s kind of fun!

So I do too… no meaning what so ever;

Inspired by Dr Shah & Abg Bear, I visited one tree which has been made famous all over the web by this entry;

After get sick for past couple of days and still have a little bit of sinus, it’s better to get out from the city and visited this place for a fresh air.

We arrived by 9.30am… such a nice weather;

Jayu, Nuhi, Hana & Along buy the idea to come here only a day before;

Pass by the area almost every week when visiting the project site but never thought the place kind of cool and relaxing.

Five of us spend whole days there to enjoy the greenery, share some laughs and shop till you drop but the best thing was, to see with my own eyes –  ’pokok riang ria’;
